Surf & Yoga Foundation
Let’s make a difference, Together.
Let’s make a difference, Together.
We have been doing community projects on and off in each of our different locations, but we thought “let’s bring all of this under one umbrella”, hence the Surf & Yoga Foundation was born.
Each of our retreats have affiliated with a community project in the local neighbourhood. Our local team has visited and verified all these projects personally and some of us are personally involved in the projects as well.
We welcome you to make your contribution via our booking page when you create a booking in each of our locations by purchasing a donation voucher.
The local schools in Arugam Bay are one of the only schools in the area that need a lot of help in terms of sports equipment, fixing repairs, and educational programmes about plastic pollution. Your contribution will go towards uplifting facilities at the school.
Algarve beaches are getting infested with alien seaweed. Our aim is to work with Sciaena to educate surfers and surf schools to educate them to take better care of the ocean.
Our camp is next to a village owned farm which is struggling with water and resources. We will be helping them to expand the farm and thereby enabling them to have a bigger harvest to share.
liina is an environmental artist using colour-bomb techniques to blow your visual radar. Saturated rivers and rainbows emerge against stunning vistas, coaxing you into a surreal dream only to discover that they are created from rubbish. Your contribution will support her foundation to educate and make an impact in people’s lives.
This project is inspired by our lovely guest Mei Lan. Blind surfers are always dependent on private surf lessons – our goal is to equalise the pricing of the lessons with our collaborating surf schools around the world & support them with this fundraising pot to stay with us reducing the higher cost.
The island of Mulah, our home in Maldives, has serious trash problems. We are working with the council to install trash bins around the island and educate school children about the importance of proper waste management. Our goal is to uplift the trash management of the island with the help of the council and our guests.
We’re excited to invite you to join us in making a positive impact in our neighborhood. We’re launching a fundraising program to support a local school in Sukadana, which serves around 250 students who currently face significant challenges with basic resources.
